South Burnett Regional Council are currently undertaking kerb and channel upgrades on Cobb Street South Murgon.
Works started this week and are anticipated to be completed in approximately 3 weeks, conditions and external constraints permitting.
These works are funded through the council’s 2020/21 Capital Upgrade Works programme and include excavation, pavement work, new kerb, concrete vehicle access and bitumen seal.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required. Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience of businesses and the community while works are in progress.
