Police renew search for missing Monto woman

Queensland Police have renewed their appeal to the public for help in finding a 63-year-old woman from Monto who has been missing since February.

Wendy Hansen was last seen driving her silver Mitsubishi Pajero along the Bruce Highway at Wild Horse Mountain on the Sunshine Coast at 2.30pm on Thursday, 29 February.

She has white skin, light brown hair and hazel eyes and is around 165 centimetres tall with a slim build.

A spokesperson for the Queensland Police Service said Ms Hansen’s disappearance is ‘out of character’ and her family hold concerns for her welfare.

Police are calling on the public to keep a look out for the Monto woman’s silver 2007 two-door Mitsubishi Pajero bearing Queensland registration 645 TCZ, and report any sightings to Policelink by filling out the form at www.police.qld.gov.au/reporting or by calling 131 444.

Witnesses should quote the reference number QP2400355750 in their report.
