Bill Hull Car Centre’s Local Dollar Drive Program saw another grateful recipient, with South Burnett Community Childcare Centre the lucky giftee.

The childcare centre was the lucky December 2024 recipient of the Bill Hull Car Centre Local Dollar Drive Program where the centre received a $900 donation. The donation will go towards helping restore the outdoor play areas affected by recent flood events.

“We are very appreciative of our centre being nominated,” the centre said, expressing their gratitude. “We would like to thank Bill Hull Car Centre for the generosity of their Local Dollar Drive.”

“This local business is an excellent example of why our town is a great place to be.”

While the childcare centre was fortunate to avoid major flood damage, their outdoor play area and sheds were impacted, leading to the loss of equipment, soft fall bark, and play blocks.

Following discussions with the children about the donation and its purpose, the centre has decided to use the funds to replace play blocks, purchase new outdoor equipment, and create a special thank-you card for ‘Bill’.

Bill Hull Car Centre’s Local Dollar Drive Program continues to make a meaningful difference in the South Burnett community, supporting local organisations in their time of need.
