The Morning Musical Melodies group from Nanango Theatre recently gave a great performance for their ‘Sentimental Journey’ concert.
The group reported that although audience numbers were down at the show on Wednesday morning 19 February, everyone who attended enjoyed the show.
Soloist Linda Bebbington enchanted attendees with some golden oldie numbers, and the Morning Melodies group performed some popular tunes from the ’60s.
There was plenty of fun in store with quizzes, poems, skits and raffles in addition to the musical numbers.
This is a fairly new venture for the Nanango Theatre, bringing enjoyment to folks who prefer a morning out rather than venturing out at night for entertainment.
Musical Melodies will be holding regular concerts on the third Wednesday of alternate months. The next concert will be held on 16 April.
