Footpath’s fresh new look

The project to upgrade the footpath in Drayton Street, Nanango has now been completed and it looks fabulous.

It has been done in a red-tone exposed aggregate which means it has blended in with the current theme of the town.

With the new businesses which have recently opened in the area it is an exciting time for residents who have more options to eat.

This footpath was in poor condition and it has been long overdue to have this done.

We get so many compliments on how great the town looks and I feel the upgrade to this part of the business section really sets off our commercial area.

I know that there is a lot of foot traffic which will increase as the doctor, the new eateries and the nail shop are all situated in the area.

I feel this really compliments the Nanango Main Street Program which needed this footpath to be replaced.

It has added a lot of character which blends in with the theme of our 176-year-old town which has a welcoming feel and friendly people.

It is great to see the town starting to offer a little more in food options and this will encourage passing traffic to stop as well as attracting residents from across the region as there has been a lot of great reports online about the new food places in town.
