Farmers were treated to a night of free dinner and entertainment last week.
South Burnett Regional Council’s ‘Farmer’s Night Out’ events at Proston and Murgon last Friday and Saturday nights were well supported.
The primary producers based in the South Burnett enjoyed music entertainment from ‘rodeo-radio announcer’ Larry Cann and guest speaker Mary O’Brien from ‘Are you bogged mate’.
More Burnett farmers will be treated at the last two ‘Farmer’s Night Out’ events at Blackbutt tonight and Kingaroy tomorrow night.
The project was funded through the Australian Government’s Drought Communities Programme -Extension.
