Kingaroy police see a variety of cases over the week including break and enters, traffic incidents and drug offences. Here’s a wrap-up of the last few days around town.

Vehicle overturns

Kingaroy Police will allege a 21-year-old Kingaroy man’s vehicle was overturned at Stolzenberg Street, Kingaroy. He told police this was due to mechanical issues.

The driver was issued an infringement notice for over $300 for failing to maintain proper control of a vehicle.

Police attended the single vehicle traffic crash last Friday.

Ice allegedly found on man

Police will allege they found a small amount of methylamphetamine on a 49-year-old Nanango man on Kingaroy Street.

They searched the man at 1pm on Friday and located 0.1g of methylamphetamine on him.

The man has been charged with possession of a dangerous drug, and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on 1 February.

Break and enter

Jewellery, cash and alcohol was stolen in a break and enter on Kingaroy Street.

A rear roller door was forced to gain entry to a licensed premise overnight on 9 to 10 January.
